Launched out of the most recent Y Combinator class, Eden just raised $3.3M in seed funding from top-tier venture capital firms and angel investors such as Canvas Venture Fund, SV Angel, Redpoint Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures, Comcast Ventures, and Paul Buchheit, among others. Earlier this month, Eden revealed its intent to use the funding in part to enter new markets.

Du Bey said that in recent weeks, as the word spread about Eden's on-demand technical services throughout the Bay Area, more businesses began taking advantage of it -- and often their needs went beyond the IT realm.
